WHERE: Sharp Auditorium, Frederic C. Hamilton Building, Denver Art Museum.

Lawrence Argent explores how we perceive and interact with our visual world. Along with Argent’s public projects, his diverse body of work includes painting, drawing, installation, and photography. Argent’s I See What You Mean, (The Big Blue Bear at the Colorado Convention Center) may be the best known public sculpture in Denver. His most recent sculpture, a 56-foot-long fiberglass jackrabbit entitled Leap, was installed this past October in the Sacramento International Airport. From blades of grass to trolley cars, Argent’s works inspire dialogue with our world.
